All Kids! Children's Ministries

children At All Saints Church, we take seriously our responsibility to assist parents in the discipleship of their children. Our passion for our kids comes from the vows made at Baptism to “persevere in resisting evil, proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ, seek and serve Christ in all persons and respect the dignity of every human being.” Oh... and we're also are committed to having a great time together!

The Daily Office

officeThe Daily Office is based on the ancient practice of prescribed daily times of prayer. The Book of Common Prayer provides the Daily Office services to be used in public or personal devotions: Morning Prayer (BCP, p. 75), Noonday Prayer (p. 103), Evening Prayer (p. 115), and Compline (p. 127). These services make up the Daily Office and are accompanied by daily Lectionary Readings, that is, three daily readings - a reading from the Old Testament, the New Testament, and a Gospel reading - as well as appointed Psalms. Praying through the Daily Office is an enriching way to practice daily devotions.

To make it easier to follow the daily Lectionary we've compiled it into an easily accesible format that you can download here. If you have any questions about using the Daily Office or would like to join us for Noonday Prayer on Wednesday's, email the office at admin@allsaints-chd.org.
