Mission & Vision

Our prayer is that the Children's Garden will be a fertile environment for families to grow in faith, not only on Sunday mornings, but also at home. We use Isaiah 58:11 to guide our vision: "And the LORD will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire in scorched places, and give strength to your bones; and you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail." A garden is a beautiful image of growth and vitality that goes beyond Sunday mornings and reaches into our homes and community.

Children’s garden spring 2023

Children’s Ministry at All Saints Church is thriving! Here are ways for you to get involved:

  • At our 8:30am and 11am services, we offer Nursery for infants and toddlers ages 0-2 years old.

  • During the Interlude—the time and space between our two services, where you can gather to pray, learn or just drink coffee! —we’ll offer Nursery as well.

  • At our 8:30am and 11am services, we offer Sacred Play (similar to Godly Play) for children ages 3-10 years of age. Children will be invited to follow their teachers out before the scripture readings, and will return during the Peace, in time for communion.

If this is your first time at Sacred Play or Children’s Garden, please fill out our form to let us know a bit more about your child. Simply click the button below.

  • At both of our services, we will also offer unstaffed nursery space in the Fellowship Hall for younger children and their families where we will have live streamed the service. We always encourage our families to be in the service as much as they feel comfortable, but we also understand that toddlers need more space and the Fellowship Hall will provide that area if it is needed at both services.

We can't wait to see you and play in the Children's Garden again! Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions!

Things you should know:

Children's Activity Kits available during both services!

We now have activity kits available for children to use during the service. The white canvas bags are available in a basket near the entrance to the sanctuary. The kits contain coloring supplies (markers, crayons, notebooks and coloring books), WikiStix toys (funky waxy sticks for quiet and creative play) and Biblical resources (bible trivia cards, books-of-the-bible info flashcards). At the end of each service, please put all supplies back in the canvas bag and return used activity kits to the proper basket outside the sanctuary. Kits will be cleaned and re-assembled for next week!

Mother’s Nursing Room

There is a mothers' nursing room available in the back of the sanctuary, entrance right outside the double doors into the sanctuary. At All Saints, mothers are welcome to feed their babies in whatever space they feel most comfortable, and the nursing room is now a designated space set aside for any mothers who want a little privacy when nursing. Multiple nursing mothers are invited to share the space, but no one else should be interrupting. Please let Carley know if anything is ever amiss, or if there are any other things I can do to make having an infant at church easier for you!

List of Childcare Providers Available for families!

We are compiling a list of childcare providers who are available for paid babysitting and part-time nannying opportunities. Please use the CONTACT US button, if you would like to be added as a childcare provider or if you would like to receive this list for your family's needs! Please note that the individuals on this list are not necessarily safety trained or background checked by All Saints, and the individuals do not represent All Saints when they are providing childcare for individual families.

Holy First Communion Classes

In the weeks preceding All Saints Day (Nov 6), we hold Holy First Communion Classes for children ages 4 and up and their families. These classes are designed to give children a better understanding of what it means to fully participate in the Eucharistic Sacrament as a baptised believer. If your child has been baptized or is taking or wants to begin taking communion, please please use the CONTACT US button, for more information.
